As a nation, we have wasted an extraordinary amount of time and
resources in the public sector trying to fix a broken system. As
John Taylor Gatto says, "Over the years of wrestling with the
obstacles that stand between child and education, I have come to
believe that government monopoly schools are structurally
unreformable. They cannot function if their central myths are
exposed and abandoned." A better question would be how can we
rescue parents who want out of government indoctrination centers
but feel trapped? What responsibility can the local church take
to help parents who believe they are unable to homeschool? How
can we sponsor them, support them, come alongside them, and make
what seems impossible possible for them? What can we do,
individually and corporately, to help free the captives? Join Dr.
Lisa Dunne for this week's episode as she shares about her
experience in helping parents get free, and learn more about her
work at AwakenAcademySD.com and CVCU.us. The weight of
responsibility for the mental, emotional, physiological, and
spiritual health of the next generation rests squarely on the
shoulders of the Christian community. And if are more afraid of
offending someone than of speaking the truth that might save them
from destruction, then we may just be standing on the wrong side
of the dividing line between the sheep and the goats.
