Come se dice...? | Episode 3

Challenged by a listener, Jenn and Ingrid put their Spanish to
the test and seem to be a little rusty.  The hosts discuss
how not being a strong Spanish speaker sometimes results in being
judged or laughed at for it not being perfect or the same as
people around you.  They share the struggles faced by from
Selena, AOC and Pero Like’s Maya Murillo.  The hosts also
recollect times where their use of different words singled them
out for being “wrong”, but share with listeners what they are
doing to strengthen and preserve their language for future
generations.  There’s lots of laughs and talk of Popeyes
biscuits.
