Rick and Val Melmer started Leadership South Dakota with a
passion for leadership and a heart for South Dakota. When this
was recorded, Rick was still the Director of Leadership in South
Dakota, but in 2023, he retired from his successful and impactful
career leading others.





Not only have Rick and Val experienced a high level of personal
success in life, but they have also helped countless others on
their journey to success through both Leadership South Dakota and
their ministry efforts in South Dakota and beyond. They are true
