In this episode, Keith Wallington, Entrepreneur in Residence at
Seedcamp and startup strategy advisor, on aptly sequencing the
scale and growth of SaaS businesses.
Keith has led strategy and execution in digital and technology
businesses since the 1990’s: his experience in driving digital
business models spans Retail Banking, Telecommunications, Online
Live Broadcasting, Software and Software as a Service (SaaS): he
has led digital business strategy initiatives for businesses
including Microsoft, Standard Bank, Omnicom/TBWA, Truphone and
Mimecast.
From 2008 to 2014 Keith spent 6 years at global email management
provider, Mimecast: here he assumed a number of C Level roles,
including COO, spanning most of the business from Marketing to
Customer Experience to Technical Operations as he championed
scalable, efficient growth. With Mimecast now the largest Cloud
based email archiving service globally, Keith refocussed his
attention in late 2014 to seek out and support businesses in the
early stages of significant growth.
