Going Top Cheddar with Brent Krahn, talking about his journey to the first round and overcoming adversity to get into business.

Brent Krahn can tell a story and he could stop a puck.  The
former goaltender played 8 years as a professional after a
stellar Western Hockey League career.  The Winkler, Manitoba
product played 3 and a half seasons with the Calgary Hitmen,
before finishing his time in the WHL with the Seattle
Thunderbirds.  He played in the Canadian Hockey League Top
Prospects game and was a first round selection by the Calgary
Flames in the 2000 National Hockey League Draft.  He played
mostly in the American Hockey League, with a little time in the
ECHL and one game with the NHL’s Dallas Stars.


Upon the completion of his hockey career, Krahn turned to the oil
industry.  He works sales for Precision Well Servicing in
Calgary. From time to time, Krahn also serves as a morning
co-host on Sportsnet 960 radio in Calgary.
