Cam Ward had a 15-year professional hockey career, 13 of those
with the Carolina Hurricanes.  Graduating from the Red Deer
Rebels of the Western Hockey League, where he holds many
franchise records, Cam burst onto the NHL scene in just his
second year pro to win the Stanley Cup and take home the Conn
Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the playoffs.


After retiring from the NHL upon the conclusion of the 2018-19
season, Cam got into the wine business.  He is one of the
founders of Vineyard 36, where they produce Cabernet Sauvignon
based wines in the Napa Valley region.
