Marc Habscheid has seen it all in hockey.  As a player,
starting with the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League,
Marc also went on to win a World Junior Hockey Championship in
1982. Then a 15-year professional hockey career that included 345
National Hockey League games split between Edmonton, Minnesota,
Detroit, and Calgary.  He also played with Team Canada at
the 1988 Olympics in Calgary.

After his playing days were over, Marc turned to the business of
coaching starting with Melfort in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey
League in 1996.  He is currently the head coach of the
Prince Albert Raiders in the WHL, winning the Ed Chynoweth Cup as
league champions in 2019.  He has also coached Kamloops,
Kelowna, Chilliwack and Victoria in the WHL.  In Kelowna,
Marc was part of another WHL championship in 2003 and a Memorial
Cup Championship in 2004.  Marc has also coached in the NHL
with the Boston Bruins.  Internationally, he’s coached
Canada at the World Juniors 2003, the same year he was named the
Canadian Hockey League’s Coach of the Year.  In 2004 and
2005, Marc coached Team Canada to gold medals at the World
Championships.

Top Cheddar is hosted by Cam Moon (Mooner) & Rob LeLacheur
(Lolly) who chat with those who have excelled in hockey and the
world of business. The entertainment is plenty as we get to hear
some terrific hockey stories from all of the different hockey
leagues and some Stanley Cup tales for good measure.

In addition to the great hockey stories, we chat about the
career(s) they've enjoyed since leaving the ice and we get
to learn how hockey has helped them through their time in
business and entrepreneurship.

The Top Cheddar podcast is produced by Road 55, a content
creation marketing firm located in downtown Edmonton, Alberta.
