Your body is screaming at you. Your joints are sore. Your back
feels like you've been hit by a semi-truck. You need help with
your Super Bowl Party Hangover!
Hard to believe that the Monday following the Super Bowl is the
biggest Call-In Sick day in the United States! Really? Are you
one of them?
Take this time NOW to get over your PARTY HANGOVER!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Rejuvenate Your Body!
Get your M&Ms!
You body may feel tight, cramping, joints stiff, and toes
cracking. The only way to relieve the aches and pain is to get
Momemtum and Movements happening. So drag
yourself out of bed and do some stretching. Feeling agile, lie
down on the floor and let your body extend from your toes to your
head as if someone is stretching and pulling you from either
side. No excuses, find the solutions.
Eat REAL food! And drink WATER!
Make today all about REAL food. Put away the boxed C.R.A.P. and
eat the real stuff. Try and eat more lean meat, like chicken,
turkey, fish. Limit yourself on the red meats. Enjoy fresh
veggies and fruit. And more importantly, increase your water
intake. Your body is dehydrated from lack of "good" fluids. Wo
rehydrate with WATER!!
Go to sleep early
Turn off your smart phone, put away the electronics, get the
children in bed early and you too!! If reading was a New Year's
resolution, then get out the book and READ! Your body will
appreciate the REST time you give it to heal from your party
hangover.
QUICK CHICKEN RECIPE
Boneless Chicken Thighs
Olive Oil
Lemon and Limes
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Coat your baking dish with olive oil. Place chicken thighs in the
dish and season with lemon and lime juice. Add salt and pepper to
taste. If you have peppers of any color, slice them as it adds
great flavor even if you don't like eating them.
Place the chicken in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25-30
minutes.
Skin on your chicken thighs? Put the chicken back in the oven on
BROIL for 4-5 minutes. Crispy deliciousness!
Let the children dip it in whatever sauce they like, including
the ketchup. You enjoy the flavor with fresh veggie like
esparagus, green beans or broccoli. Yummy!!
