I can't do it all! UGH!!!!
SPARKLE IN SIXTY
I found myself running in circles. Trying to get it ALL done. But
I can't do it all!!! My day was on automatic pilot, just going
through the motions. How can that me serving any one. However, I
believed I was doing the right thing.
Working under pressure was a strong suit for me. Call me an
adrenaline junkie, mayber. I didn't see it that way. I was doing
what was correct, at least that's what I hoped everyone else
believed too. NOT the case. Hence the tornado hit.
During the tornado, I realized you only have so many hours in the
day. You may say this is so BASIC. How could you miss it?
Automatic pilot. I began asking myself questions and I challenge
YOU to ask yourself the following:
How do you want to spend your day? Where do your priorities
lie? What's important to you now?
The K.I.S.S. ~ Your Time Blueprint!
FOUNDATION (BASEMENT) - This HOLDS you up!
In order to have self care or self love for you to be your
best, what must happen EVERYDAY? For example: workout, run,
reading, devotions, etc.
What are your daily/weekly commitments that fit into your
lifestyle? You see yourself doing there activities regardless of
what's happening. For example: church, girl scouts, coach
basketball, date night, etc.
1ST FLOOR - These are the commitments/activities required for
you and your family. You may or may not have control over the
schedule. For example:
School schedule
Job/Career/Entrepenuer
Volunteer work
2ND FLOOR - Compliments the 1st floor!
These activities/events can change with the season.
You have these activities/events mainly because what is on
the 1st floor.
Examples: School concert, football games, office party, etc.
ATTIC - Much smaller and NOT a lot of room!
This is the area you say yes to just because you do.
Examples: Bake cookies for the PTO, substitute for a Sunday
School teacher.
The Attic can take over and chaos brews.
You can't be heavy on the top and strong on the bottom. Something
has to give!!!
Create YOUR Time Blueprint floor by floor. "I can't do it all!"
What are you worth? Remember to BREATHE!
