Being Black in the Film Industry with Vineciah McFarlane

We all know that the film industry to this day is still not
exactly inclusive. Of course, we can look to our BIPOC icons and
role models in the industry. But the fact that they had to work
twice as hard to get in, is unfortunate. Recently Netflix
introduced a new show titled "Bling Empire", following the
takedown of the film Crazy Rich Asians. it features the wealthy
Asian community in Los Angeles. This week Kendrick is talking to
friend and actress Vineciah McFarlane about trying to make it as
a black woman in the Toronto Film Industry. Discussing hair,
