You've probably heard and used the phrase yourself: There is no
"I" in a team. Am I right? 


Have you ever stopped to ask why whoever invented that phrase did
so? Do you know what the original meaning is?


I really don't know. I would say it was probably well-intentioned
but faulty.

long-standing and readily accepted phrase and what I offered as
an alternative.
