+++ IT'S TRICKY +++

Have you ever tried to please everyone? How did that work out?

Here's a quote that I've kept close to me: you can please some of
the people some of the time but you can't please all of the
people all of the time.

Another quote that I really like is: "Some will, some won't, so
what? Next!" Another ending that I've also seen and liked is,
"... someone else is waiting."

Even though I've held these quotes close to me, it's not as easy,
at least for me, to put them into action.

I used to want everyone to always like me but I've realized over
time that it's an impossible feat. I've learned to be okay with
it but it's not my default.

So, I did my best to avoid certain sticky topics or situations
that might require me to confront or take decisive action that
more than likely will offend or hurt someone.

You could say that's my conflict avoidance self acting out at
that time. It's tricky. Right?

So what should you do as a leader when all around you
there is a movement on the way under the umbrella of Black Lives
Matter to get rid of racism? Add to that the tension between
those who believe All Lives Matter and Black Lives Matter. What
should you do?

In this episode, you'll hear a direct, bold, and
uncompromising straight talk on the matter about what really
matters.
