The Boring Parts of Building an Empire

We once again regale you with our take on comic book news that is
somewhere between three weeks and a month out of date. This time,
we discuss the completely underwhelming Thunderbolts team reveal
that nobody cares about at the time of the episode release. Then
we return to "As the Domino Rolls" (AKA Cable & Deadpool
issue 29, "The Domino Principle, Part II: The Politics of Fear"),
the soap opera surrounding the negotiations between Cable, the
Ultimatum Guard, and the Rumeki Resistance Movement. Not as in
the political drama of watching Cable annex the first colony of
Providence, this is a half Deadpool comic!! Also, Domino does a
lot of standing around and staring at Cable. Then we have "Five
Takeaways from Mutant X", where we discuss the title that ran
from 1998-2001 where Alex Summers finds himself in an alternate
dimension where stuff is supposed to be "darker", but it's really
just a slightly different version of the same.


Coming up: Cable and Deadpool participate in the superhero civil
war of 2006-2007 and Five Takeaways from 2015's Secret Wars.
