Dp-I-Y

We’re back and exploring our own tropes, among other things. So much has happened, and so much of it we missed, but we did remember to talk about things like Joe Hendry, toxic fandoms, what’s new in Star Wars, the comics we have been reading, the Wyatt Sicks, X-Men ‘97, and enough other things that we managed to record over an hour and twenty minutes of content. We hope you’re willing to listen to maybe five minutes of it, dear listener. (If a trope is established while no one is listening, does it count as a trope?)

Saying we’ll record more often and then disappearing for an extended period seems to be our podcast’s first trope. Verano and I have been gone so long we have over six months of released content to discuss. Guardians 3, the Flash, Blue Beetle, Ahsoka, Echo, the theater vs. streaming debate, the writers strike, and more get some airtime in this episode. Also, is anyone else tired of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend? (Hope our 44 bots enjoy the show!!)

In one last “check in” episode before our Civil War celebration in July, we discuss Titans and the Flash (CW) and their conclusions, the Gotham Knights show that neither of us watched (it’s cancelled now), and Across the Spider-Verse. Then we discuss the time that Peter Parker’s body was taken over by Otto Octavius’s mind in the pages of Superior Spider-Man. Our exhaustion from outside factors may be apparent in our discussion, but we hope you enjoy anyway.

Holy F'n S---, Batman! Another accidental six month break?!? Apologies, loyal listeners (who we can no longer call our "dirty dozen" since different analytics indicate there might be many more of you out there than we realized). Moving on, in this episode we discuss the accidental break, potential future plans, comic book related current events, and the Avengers vs. X-Men vs. Eternals crossover event (with a minor digression into the world of professional wrestling).
