before joining Waldorf Astoria Beijing. His previous tenures were
with the Marriott and Starwood brands throughout Asia and he has
held different roles and positions in New York, Hong Kong,
Taipei, Xiamen and Macau where he has gained a significant amount
of important and vital experience. Opened in 2014, Waldorf
Astoria Beijing marks the second Waldorf Astoria hotel in China
and the brand’s continued international expansion. Standing as a
dramatic bronze building, the hotel is a landmark in the heart of
the Wangfujing district, and an icon where time transcends
through the rich Chinese tradition to today’s sophisticated
affluent lifestyle. In this episode, Joanne finds out from Brian
how he is innovating to differentiate his hotel, attract a 100%
