An unconventional opening year for Marrakech latest luxury palace, with Fabien Gastinel, General Manager, The Oberoi Marrakech

Fabien Gastinel started his career with Accor Hotels in the
United States and since then, he has worked with luxury hotels
such as Waldorf Astoria Cairo and Beijing, The Ritz-Carlton
Singapore and The Oberoi Dubai. Fabien has a strong food &
beverage background and a great experience in Michelin starred
restaurants openings in Singapore, China and France.  Expert
of the hospitality industry for over twenty years, Fabien opened
The Oberoi, Marrakech last year and the hotel has been receiving
various high acclaimed awards.  Fabien and I will speak
about the Oberoi brand which is renowned for its service
excellence, his experience going through an unconventional
opening for a luxury hotel during the pandemic, the importance of
the domestic and international markets and how special Morocco is
