Grandad Wheels with Brian Abram

In this episode, Toria talks to Brian Abram AKA Grandad Wheels
about his fabulous books.

Brian lives in Halifax with his wife Linda and is retired. 
After a serious cycling accident in 2013, Brian was left
paraplegic and a full-time wheelchair user.  A few years
ago, he started writing stories to amuse his Grandson Charles and
now there are six stories in the series 'The Adventures of
Grandad Wheels!'  After sharing the stories with family and
friends, he was encouraged to make them available to a wider
audience.


All the books are self-published and all the proceeds from sales
are donated to two charities that help wheelchair users in their
everyday lives.  And of course, Brian is determined not to
let his disability stop him from having more daft adventures with
grandson Charles!
