This week Scott is joined by Lee Jennings of The Funeral
Portrait. The Funeral Portrait is a four-piece emotional rock
outfit hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Consisting of Lee Jennings
(Vocals), Cody Weissinger (Guitar), Robert Weston (Bass), and
Homer (Drums). The band blends elements of rock and roll, punk
rock, and theater all under a blanket of pop sensibility as they
paint their stories of love, loss, anger, and grief onto a canvas
of skillfully crafted songs.

TFP hit the ground running in late 2014 and since then has shared
the stage with: Shinedown, Underoath, Issues, Starset, PVRIS,
From Ashes To New, August Burns Red, 10 Years,  Palisades,
Islander and many more!

Topics touched on in this conversation include not touring during
a pandemic, touring with Islander, switching record companies,
taking advantage of opportunities, and songwriting.

Additionally, Lee shares his thoughts on making videos, including
how they can become a dangerous thing. He also talks about his
musical upbringing including the role that musical theater played
in his life.

In this discussion, Lee also talks about the importance of
maintaining a connection with the fans.

Other topics include working production for bands in Atlanta,
poor tattoo jobs, band member changes, and more.

As per usual, Scott walks through the discography of The Funeral
Portrait with Lee and gets the story behind the music.

We hope you enjoy Scott's chat with Lee Jennings of The Funeral
