So how does someone who grows up in one of the most
crime-infested areas of Chicago make something out of his life

Just ask Michael Johnson.

Growing up as a child, Michael got shot, had many friends and
family members die and was in an area filled with gangs, drugs
and prostitution.

To further paint the picture, he’s one of only four kids out of
23 in his elementary school class who’s still alive today.

Academically, Michael overcame illiteracy to graduate with a
master’s degree in business.

Despite all the challenges, Michael says his life experiences
have shaped him into the man he is today.

He helps thousands of children and families as the CEO of one of
the fastest-growing Boys and Girls Clubs in the United States and
has become a true leader of all people, regardless of race or
income status.

I sat down with Michael, and he shared his incredible journey of
going from broke and hopeless to becoming a life-changing CEO.
