Powerful lesson learned from a Ted talk I listened to while walking
in the morning. Practice rigorous authenticity - surrender the
outcome - do the work. I reflected on Warrior and the mindset of be
real, raw, relevant so that our results reflect our true desires.
Maybe these words spoken by this gentlemen on Ted talks rang true
as I linked them to what I have learned living the warrior way.
Maybe my own recent shortcomings made the words he said sting a
little more than usual. I am either authentic or I am a liar. Its
that simple. The tricky part is when I hold back from being
authentic and ... the only one who knows is me. This guy who at one
point used a rope as a belt was speaking from a place of power. He
wore no mask - he was honest - he owned the fact at one point he
was an addict. The truth of his pain set him free as he stood face
to face with reality. Empowering to see, hear, watch others as they
live life unchained. It was a powerful reminder I am on the right
path no matter how bumpy shit gets at times. Freedom is not
covering up all my failures - it’s embracing the power... the fact
I have lived. I have lived in the dirt of Iraq, I have fought and
failed as a man, I have crossed lines, I have made grave mistakes
and yet all of it was the darkness of my life that lead to the
light of here and now. I live less in regret everyday as I live the
Warrior way. I am more interested if not curious how I can continue
to bring this all together in way that serves me and those I
associate with. Share the lessons - surrender the outcome. The only
thing greater than reflections of the past and or dreams of the
future is the undeniable empowering moments of here and now. Live
it, share it - embrace the greatest gift - this moment. Branden

A father, husband, brother, a son, a friend fighting to become the
best I can be! Oh by the way.... do you want more clarity, more
certainty, more ability to be present with presence? I am recently
completed this powerful program. I have learned a great deal in
life from my success and or more from my failures. This challenge
has giving me the ability to pivot, to learn, grow - gain clarity I
could only earn within this process. I believe its not the
destination - its about the journey and the man we are becoming on
a day to day bases. Becoming a better man, husband, father - a
fighter so that I can continue to stand for what matters in life. I
don’t want you to join the challenge! I don’t need you to join the
challenge! I just believe you will rise within the challenge for
you, your family - your journey. My responsibility is to lead you
to the door as someone did for me. Step with courage!
