24. The Philadelphia Story (1940)

Diane and I talk about the classic 1940 romantic comedy, The
Philadelphia Story. Starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, James
Stewart, and Ruth Hussey, this dialogue-packed film stuns my
ears, and I love it. We also draft modern day replacements in our
fantasy remake. Episode music is the opening title sequence from
The Philadelphia Story by Franz Waxman and "Somewhere Over the
Rainbow" by Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg, performed by James
Stewart.
