Honens @ Home: Samson Tsoy performs Tchaikovsky arr. Pletnev

We're lightening things up this week with music you usually only
hear around the holidays. In 2015, Semifinalist Samson Tsoy
performed Tchaikovsky arr. Pletnev's Concert Suite from The
Nutcracker Op. 71. We'll listen to three of the most famous
character dances in this excerpt—Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,
Russian Trepak, and Chinese Dance recorded live at the 2015
Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary,
Canada.
