In Acts chapter thirteen, Paul and Barnabus were consecrated for
the work of the Lord. They were sent away on their first missionary
journey to Paphos of Cyprus. They preached to the men of Israel and
were met with fierce opposition. The Jews were jealous that the
word of God was being preached to the Gentiles. In Acts 13:52 it
says, "And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy
Spirit." Just think how discouraged and distracted they could have
been if they did not choose joy during adversity. Join us Tuesday,
