A worthy life resides fully in Jesus Christ. God has positioned us in Christ and clothed us in His righteousness. As a believer, our lives should align with God's expectations. Our desires and goals are to walk worthy or consistently with who God is and what He has done. God is the one who saves and calls us. Through His power, we can bear fruit in every good work. Eph. 4:1 (NIV), says, "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received."  Walking worthy is a true walk of faith, resulting from being in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ is depicted through various figures, metaphors, and titles. One is the "Lion of Judah," evoking imagery of majesty, power, and authority. Rev. 5:5 (NIV), says, "Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He can open the scroll and its seven seals.” The Lion Tells His Tale is an African Proverb that says, "Until the lion tells his tale, the hunt will always glorify the hunter."Essentially, he who holds the pen controls the narrative. How do we make room for diverse voices to be heard in the story of American History?  Who will tell the "Unspoken Truths" of the African American experience?  These questions are explored in the world premiere play, "The Lion Tells His Tale." Yield to the King Ministry (Y2K Ministry) has made great strides since its inception in June 2015. I am reflecting on the faithfulness of God, His plans for the ministry, and the success that unfolds. My heart is thankful and grateful. The Lord God is the source of our salvation. Christians are delivered and redeemed from the penalty of sin and its consequences which are death and separation from God. Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice through His death. He conquered death by rising from the dead. Christ Jesus is the personification of salvation. Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) says, "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation."
