Christian Apologetics: Defending Our Faith

Apologetics is a big word.  It basically means to
offer an apology.  So you might ask, why are we
apologizing for our belief in Christ Jesus?  In answer to
that question -- we're not!  Apologetics is developing
and using a defense or being able to give an explanation to others.
God's Word is always under attack, both unintentionally and
intentionally.  And, as believers in Christ, we claim the
Bible is the absolute authoritative guide in our
lives. How then, do we defend our faith? The Bible? Or,
our belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord?  We know that
in Jesus there is hope!  I Peter 3:15 says,
"..but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts,
always being ready to make a defense to
everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is
in you, yet with gentleness
and reverence..." (NASB).  Join us Tuesday, February
