Practical Application of Spiritual Disciplines

Christian disciplines are vital to our spiritual growth. It's
difficult to navigate life without the application of God’s Word.
When we read the Bible we are feeding ourselves with spiritual food
to help us through the days, weeks, months, and years to come.
Bible intake is necessary. There are other disciplines such as
prayer, fasting, worship, serving, and giving, that enriches our
lives and equips us to live victoriously. II Timothy 3:16-17 says,
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work." The Word of God and its application
is our lifeline. We will be blessed and filled when we hunger and
