Knowing Our Identity In Christ - Part II

Usually, identity is the way we perceive ourselves. It shapes
our beliefs and those core beliefs in turn, drive what we think,
say and do. How do we describe ourselves, by our attributes,
heritage, possessions, backgrounds, aspirations? Overtime, our
description becomes our earthly identity. The active pursuit of
finding, knowing, and growing in our spiritual identity is
paramount. As believers and followers of Christ, we walk in
the newness of life, a new creation; hence the term born
again. John 3:3 says, "Very truly I tell you, no one can
see the kingdom of God unless they are born
again." (NIV)  Being in Christ Jesus, is our spiritual
identity. And, our identity in Him is the greatest treasure on
