Christians may be surprised to learn that the doctrine of
justification by faith is not only found in the New Testament but
also in the Old Testament. Genesis 15:6, says, "Abraham, in
response to God’s promise, believed the LORD, and it was counted to
him as righteous." In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul
wrote about justification by faith by contrasting justification by
faith with justification by works of the law. We are not
justified by our works. And, the blessing is,
being "justified" means we are no longer enemies of
God! Romans 5:1 says, "Therefore, having been
justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ." (NKJV) Join us Tuesday, August 24,
