The Axeman murders took place in New Orleans, Louisiana beginning
in the year 1918 and would span a total of 18 months. This serial
killer was responsible for a total of 12 attacks. 6 murders and 6
other attempted murders. The Axeman would stand by his victims
bedside as they slept and would wait for them to wake just before
he bludgeoned them with an axe.


What makes this case so fascinating is that this case is still
unsolved to this day and it's shrouded in mystery. Some believe
the Axeman was just a deranged and savage serial killer who was
clever enough to never get caught, while others believe the
axeman of New Orleans was a demonic entity that took the form of
