How Hans Holbein "Created" Henry VIII with Franny Moyle (ep 175)

The Tudors are one of the most well-known of the English royal
dynasties for several reasons: the larger than life characters,
the multiple marriages and Virgin Queen, and the extraordinary
portraits. When Hans Holbein the Younger became Henry VIII's
painter, he helped create an image of the king that has shaped
our understanding of the Tudors. Franny Moyle joins us to share
her research into how Holbein helped create the legacy of Henry
VIII.
