When did static stretches get the boot?  In today’s episode,
we welcome them back. Because who doesn’t love a good stretch?
Some studies have found that static stretching pre-workout may
decrease muscle power output for one to three minutes before
going back to normal. Is that a reason to give up on static
stretching? We say, NO, especially because stretching in the long
term has been shown to increase muscle power output!
