Ep.9 Shaju Ignatius, Founder - The Ignite Enterprise: On Ingredients That Make A Successful Event IP

An event management industry veteran with over 25 years in the
business, Shaju Ignatius started his entrepreneurial venture, as
the Founder of The Ignite Enterprise, in the entertainment
content and project management space about a decade back. His
specialties include Event IPs, Special projects management, and
collaborations in the domains of Entertainment & Live
Events.

Shaju was part of the initial team in institutionalizing the
Events Industry and setting up large-scale productions both in
India and globally. A few of his key projects include the Michael
Jackson History Concert, the Zee Millennium Celebrations, the
annual Filmfare Awards, Femina Miss India, the Zee Cine Awards,
IIFA Awards, etc. Global events include the Bollywood Awards in
New York, the Showman TV Show with SRK- at the London Wembley
Arena, Music Concerts in Dubai, the mega Mauritius Independence
Day celebrations, the Sangeet Awards at London's Royal Albert
Hall, Sahara Film Festival across the US and UK, amongst
others.

With his varied experience in Special Events & business
management, strategy & brand marketing, at The Ignite
Enterprise he prospectively explores the Events IP space for
fruitful collaborations & partnerships. Some interesting
projects done in the last few years include Enchanted Valley
Festival (EVC) - Music Fest, Golf Premier League, Broadway
Delights - Cirque on Ice at Aamby Valley, Festival of Education,
GetActive Experiential Projects with India’s premier Marathon
Events, The Mumbai Shopping Festival, Mukkti Cultural Hub, etc.
In the Films and TV content path, he has co-produced a couple of
Hindi Feature Films, as well as been associated with multiple
non-Fiction television Shows. Shaju formally ventured into the
path of Education, in collaboration with IISM (International
Institute of Sports Management), and set up a Diploma program in
Sports Event Management for aspiring sports managers.

In this episode, Shaju opens up with Hardik about his journey of
shaping the events industry in the country. He shares about the
particular work hack that has helped him across two decades to
manage the most complex event management projects. He also speaks
about the secret ingredients that go into making an event IP
successful; his approach towards managing multiple career
