When I first studied ‘embodiment’ there was only 1 professional
training I could find on the market (it was this one). Over the
years ‘embodiment’ has become a popular concept & the number
of training has blossomed.
Those entering the space of professional embodiment training may
feel overwhelmed by choice! So how can you figure out the
difference between them? And which one is right for you?
In this special podcast, I’m exploring how Feminine Embodiment
Coaching is different from…
Somatic Coaching
Embodiment Coaching
Embodied Facilitation
Trauma Therapy (such as Somatic Experiencing)
Embodied Movement Practice
This podcast teases apart some of the subtle, but key,
differences in perspectives and
approaches between different ways of working.
Specifically, we look at:
Do women need a different approach to embodiment?
Why geeking out on embodiment concepts like polyvagal therapy
& acute stress might feel alluring, and yet are rarely what a
practitioner needs to deepen their resonance
The KEY to embodiment (that is missing in almost every
training curriculum I read)
What’s a the heart of an embodiment training (& why
multiple modalities aren’t always a good thing)
We’re not contrasting again any particular training or school,
rather exploring how we perceive and see the busy constellation
of the embodied arts.
Would love to hear your perspectives once you’ve tuned in - drop
