The race for the White House is entering its final phase as the
calendar changes to October this week, and some experts are saying
the contest could come down to one small part of the nation,
Nebraska’s second district. The state, that splits its presidential
delegates, has only awarded a Democrat a delegate in that
district twice since 1992, but Democrats are hopeful they can win
to avoid a potential tie in the Electoral College. Senator Pete
Ricketts (R-NE) joins the Rundown to discuss the importance of
Nebraska’s “blue dot” district, reacts to Vice President Harris’
visit to the southern border, and shares his thoughts on Israel’s
strike against Hezbollah that killed its leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Almost half of the population in the United States has been
diagnosed with a chronic disease. Yet, many are considered to be
diet-related, such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. As the
U.S. gets sicker, Dr. Marty Makary thinks it's time for a
wider conversation regarding the nation's health. Dr. Makary, a
surgeon and professor at Johns Hopkins University, joins to discuss
his new book Blind Spots: When Medicine Gets It Wrong, and
What It Means for Our Health. Plus, commentary by America First
Policy Institute Fellow Andy Puzder. (Image Via AP) Learn more
