Evening Edition: New Bill Will Ban China From Buying U.S. Farmland

According to data from the Department of Agriculture, China owns
around 350,000 acres of farmland across 27 states as of last year.
Lawmakers have argued that China’s farmland and housing buys are a
national security risk with many of the purchases near military
installations. House Republicans are taking action and have
introduced the "Protecting Our Farms and Homes from China Act",
which aims to codify oversight on foreign countries buying American
farmland. FOX's Ryan Schmelz speaks with Republican Congresswoman
