Time may be running out for TikTok.   The social media app
could be banned in America by January 19th if it does not
divest itself from its Chinese parent company, Bytedance.
  Security experts and lawmakers have long warned that China
uses the app to collect data on the millions of Americans who use
it and influence our country’s politics and culture by manipulating
what content is seen.   This past week, FOX News Rundown host
Dave Anthony spoke to cyber security expert John Cofrancesco about
TikTok's security concerns and the likelihood of the app being
banned from America’s smartphones.   Cofrancesco, the CEO of
Applied AI Company, explained why TikTok differs from other
data-collecting apps like Facebook and Google and why the Chinese
government finds the information collected from TikTok valuable.
