Cabinet Picks Gain Momentum On Capitol Hill

Republicans regained the Senate majority in the 2024 election but
some controversial cabinet picks from President-elect Trump have
caused some division. The White House is facing some scrutiny as
they have failed to provide answers to drone sightings across the
northeast, with the Biden administration saying that there is no
cause for concern. The House will have to stare down a potential
government shutdown at the end of the week as the deadline for
federal funding into 2025 looms large. South Dakota Senator Mike
Rounds (R) joins the Rundown to discuss the confirmation process
for the President-elect’s cabinet, his thoughts on the government
response to drone sightings, and what he expects from the first
months of the second Trump presidency. These days, most kids unwrap
