America’s longest-living commander in chief, President Jimmy
Carter, has passed away at the age of 100. He leaves behind a
storied legacy, not just as the 39th president of the United
States, but as a veteran, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who
redefined what kind of impact a leader’s post-presidency could have
on the world. Presidential historian and author Jane Hampton Cook
joins the podcast to recount the story of President Carter’s life,
from his jump from peanut farmer to national politician, and how
his persona of integrity met the moment for the tumultuous era in
American history that he assumed leadership. She remembers his
greatest achievements in office and his passionate partnership with
Habitat for Humanity.   The first assassination attempt on
then-former President Donald Trump's life on July 13, in Butler,
Pennsylvania rocked the nation. Now, several months later,
lawmakers are still questioning what went wrong. FOX News Sunday
anchor Shannon Bream was live on-air when the gunshots went off,
she joined the Rundown a few days later to recount the events.
