Sonje Mayo, a Pilates studio owner was very fortunate to meet and
study Contrology with Joseph Pilates in 1965 as a young ballet
and modern dancer. Both spoke German which established a special
bond that endured until his death in 1967 where upon she
continued to study with his main disciple, Romana Kryzanowska.
Sonje has a background in anatomy and physiology which has given
her a unique ability to work with those clients who have or may
be prone to osteoporosis which is our topic for this
episode.
