Tannis Kobrinsky was certified in 2000 by Rael Isokowitz, Founder
of BASI - Body Arts and Science International. She had a dream of
creating a space that combined 2 kinds of art - art in motion
which is Pilates and visual art to adorn her walls. Growing up
with a mom who was a landscape artist, Tannis was exposed to many
types of visual art. Her mother’s artistic background awakened in
Tannis her need to see art, create art through different forms
and share art with others. With her BASI certification in hand
she set out to realize her dream and in 2011 opened Pilates &
Arts in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles. Not only does Tannis
offer top Pilates education but she supports local artists which
includes hosting 5 art exhibits a year.
