Mary Bowen ~ The most senior Pilates Elder

As Season Four comes to a close,  I thought it only fitting
as we began the season with a First Generation Pilates teacher
that we book end it with another.  She is the most senior of
our Pilates elders and is none other than Mary Bowen. Mary has
taught the Contrology system for the last forty seven years. She
is also a trained Jungian  psychoanalyst and cleverly
blended the two practices, naming it Pilates Plus Psyche which
she continues to teach.  Mary shares her wisdom and
encouragement to the many generations of Pilates teachers who
have come after her.
