Siena was introduced to flower essences back in the 1990’s; they
were recommended to her to help reduce stress. They were so
effective for her that she eventually began making blends for other
people to use.
In this episode, we chat about the basics of flower essences.
Even though they’ve been around since the 1930’s, what they are and
how they’re used are not exactly common knowledge in the
mainstream.
So here’s our casual primer on flower essences.
Flower Essences
What are flower essences?
Flower essences are liquids that contain the energy imprint of
certain flowers, which address imbalances in specific aspects of
the physical, mental, emotional bodies (which are, after all, all
intertwined). Flower essences are considered ‘energy
medicine.’
Flower essences do not have a scent. The only aroma you might smell
is alcohol, which is only used a preservative in these liquid
solutions.
How to take flower essences
Here are some ways to take flower essences.
Take a 3-5 drops by mouth, at least 2 times a day
Drop 3-5 drops into a water bottle, and sip from the water bottle
throughout the day
Spray flower essences from a spray bottle into the air or on your
body; that’s one “dose”
Note: a “dose” is any time you take in the flower essence, whether
diluted or not. For example, each time you drink from the water
bottle it’s counted as a “dose,” even though you’d dropped 3 drops
into the entire bottle of water.
To further clarify, here are more examples
Each of these is considered to be one dose:
Dropping 3 drops in your mouth
A sip from a water bottle (in which 3-5 drops has been
diluted)
A spray from a water bottle (in which 3-5 drops has been
diluted)
