This is the first podcast of The Month Of Spooky 2023. On Ron’s
Amazing Stories we have a tale from Rose about an old man hanging
out on her porch. Then we head to Captain Doubloon’s Castle for an
OTR classic tale from CBS Radio Mystery Theater. This is an
extended story that should have you squirming like a worm. I am
excited about the month and I think it is time to press that play
button and enjoy. Featured Story - The Horror of Dead Lake Our
featured story for this time is the stuff of nightmares. Sometimes
science gives us amazing breakthroughs. However, sometimes they
produce monsters. The story is titled The Horror Of Dead Lake. It
comes from the third season of CBS Radio Mystery Theater and it has
been suggested to be the most horrific of all of them. Upon hearing
of their inheritance, Claude and Polly Baxter are thrilled to be
the proud new owners of Captain Doubloon’s Castle and its
mysterious lake. Is it a find or folly? This one first aired on CBS
radio on February 9, 1976. Other Stories Include - Murder In The
Tomb, Our First Halloween, and The Horror of Dead Lake Ron’s
