Spider-Man (2002) Movie Sam Raimi Tobey Maguire is reviewed comparing to The Amazing Spider-Man Comic (1962)

Episode 25 of LRSM.  In the Silver Anniversary 25th episode,
James B and Eddie compare the 1960's comic book to the first
movie in which Peter Parker gains spider-like powers, including
super-strength, enhanced reflexes, a "spider sense" that warns
him of incoming danger, and the ability to climb walls and shoot
spiderwebs (one example of a departure from the comics, where he
utilizes web-shooters). Following a personal tragedy, he decides
to use his newfound powers for good, and begins fighting crime
and injustice as The Amazing Spider-Man.  All complaints
