The Amazing Spider-Man 88-89 : The Arms of Doctor Octopus! | Doc Ock Lives! ( ft Otto Octavius )

Episode 57 of LRSM.  Eddie and James B are joined by host of
the Daily Spider Panel, Sara Pezel to discuss issues 88 and 89 of
The Amazing Spider-Man from 1970.  In issue 88, We begin at
the Museum of Natural Science where Doc Ock’s arms are on
exhibit. During a lecture we are informed that the arms still
hold a threat. In a lonely midwest prison Doc Ock senses his arms
and focuses his mental control on them. With impeccable timing,
Doc Ock succeeds and is able to control his arms in the middle of
the lecture.


Later in issue 89, Doc Ock intends to draw Spider-man into combat
to defeat him once and for all!   Meanwhile, Peter is
approached to protest air pollution and looks weak when he says
he can’t.  Eventually Doctor Octopus battles Spider-Man
aboard a plane full of hostages and foreign dignitaries.
