The Amazing Spider-Man 102 : Morbius (Part 2 of 3) The Origin of Morbius & What If Spider-Man Had Kept His Six Arms

Episode 65.  James B and Eddie discuss the double sized The
Amazing Spider-Man 102 (1:00) It's the backstory and origin of
Morbius and they also tackle a "What If" issue that relates

Having recently been knocked out by Morbius, a groggy Spidey
watches as Morbius fights and knocks out the Lizard. He is quick
to suck a small amount of the incapacitated Lizard’s blood.
Instead of fighting Spidey Morbius decides to fly off.  The
Lizard awakes and, because of Morbius’ bite, now has the mind of
Dr. Connors but remains in physical Lizard form. He transforms
further into a half human half lizard body and loses his arm.


Later while Morbius sleeps, we see his backstory in his dreams.
He is a Nobel prize winning scientist from Europe with a rare
blood disease which is killing him. He charters a boat to test
his scientific equipment. Accompanied by his assistant Nikos and
loving but unknowing wife Martine, they sail into the ocean where
Nikos electro shocks Morbius in an attempt to create blood
cells.  What will happen?
