Hercules is looking for the source of am earthquake when he rips
the ground open and sees a huge robot with a ground boring device
 He and Spider-Man are taken underground where one of the
robots reveals to Spidey that they are cutting Manhattan island
loose so that they can drag it out to sea with a nuclear
submarine and ransom the island for 2 billion dollars.  Yes,
this is 616 Spider-Man.
