A woman stops Spider-Man from beating a criminal to death. 
Spider-Man fights the Sandman and is almost killed by a laser.

Spider-man has to solve a murder after narrowing down the killer
to three questionable suspects.  Once again, he is almost
killed by a laser (good thing it wasn’t a gas attack).
