Praying the Psalms: Psalm 23 God's Satisfying Presence

Psalm 23 is famous and memorable, but it is not always foundational
to our lives and it is not always reality for us. One of the main
implications of this Psalm for us is that we "lack nothing." This
is not always the way we live, so we need to pray into this. Asking
God to keep us from acting like we have lack. The other key lesson
from this Psalm is that God is with us (v.4) but often His presence
feels far. So we pray into this asking God to make us more aware of
His presence and more comforted by Him. These are simple things to
pray, but difficult changes to make. It will take repetitive,
consistent praying into Psalm 23 for us to allow God to make these
