Brushes

In this episode, slightly longer than I hoped, I discuss the
sound-world of brushes. This is not a brushes 'lesson', more an
insight in to my journey with brushes, how and why I learnt to play
them. Who to check out. Different approaches to vertical and
lateral playing. And some general musings about experiences of
playing brushes in different styles of music. This is not a 'jazz'
focused edition. But I present an opinion that points towards
studying jazz brushes might help one find a quicker way in to
playing lots of other styles.
